All changes to registration MUST BE REQUESTED via email to info@ocmarathon.com or to the hotline (949-222-3327) by 5pm on April 22, 2009. Any requests received after 5pm on April 22, 2009 will not be made prior to the event and must be handled by visiting the solutions table at the Health, Fitness & Nutrition Expo.

Please note the following safety issues: Participants who have not reached the 4-mile mark by 7:45am will be asked to obey all traffic lights and use public sidewalks, so police can re-open the Balboa Island Bridge.
Age Limits: Participants must be 16 years of age or older to participate in the FULL Marathon. The OC Marathon recommends that participants be 14 years of age or older to participant in the HALF Marathon. Participant under 14 years of age should consider the 5K and/or Kids Run the OC Mile Run.

Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K Registration and Packet Pick Up
You can register on line through midnight April 29, 2009. All mail in forms MUST BE postmarked by April 24, 2009. After that time, you will need to register at the Health, Fitness and Nutrition Expo. Please pick up your race packets (bib, D-tag timing chip, technical shirts, t-shirts, jackets, goodie bag) at the Expo on Friday, May 1, from 12 pm – 7 pm or Saturday, May 2, from 9 am – 6 pm at the OC Fair and Event Center.
Please note: Each participant must attend the Health, Fitness & Nutrition Expo and show their identification to pick up their own race bib, D-tag timing chip, technical shirt or t-shirt, and goodie bag. Friends and family of participants may pick up packets for the participant only if they have a copy of the person's ID and both an OC Marathon event waiver and an OC Fair & Event Center waiver SIGNED BY THE PARTICIPANT. These forms can be downloaded here: 2009 OCM Waiver and 2009 OCF&E Waiver. You CAN NOT register at the start line on race day for ANY RACE! There is ABSOLUTELY NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP.
Registered participants will receive their bib numbers via email prior to the Expo. If a participant does not have a bib number, you can look up your names on the alpha lists (provided by Race Central) as you enter Building 12. Once a participant has a bib number, you will proceed to the corresponding registration table where you will need to provide a valid photo ID and sign the release waivers for the OC Marathon and OC Fair & Event Center. |
