Yes! Make the switch HERE
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?
You can plan a run any time before May 30, 2022.
WHERE DO I RUN?
Participants choose their own race course. We ask that you do not run on the roads of the event courses, as they are much different on event weekend due to closures and police assistance with traffic. Should you choose to run a similar course to the actual, you must obey all laws and traffic signals and stay on sidewalks as there will be no police assistance. We also ask that you do not run in groups, per the CDC recommendations during social distancing times.
IS A VIRTUAL RUN ELIGIBLE FOR THE BEACH CITIES CHALLENGE?
Yes. If you run the Virtual OC Marathon or Half Marathon in 2022, you will maintain your Beach Cities Challenge status. If the OC is your final race in the series, we will include the Beach Cities medal in your shipment.
WHAT WILL I RECEIVE FOR COMPLETING A VIRTUAL RACE?
You will receive a finisher's medal, runner's bib, and the event t-shirt. All materials will be mailed to you.
DOES THIS COUNT AS AN OFFICIAL RACE TIME? CAN I QUALIFY FOR BOSTON?
