Ainsley’s Angels has become an integral part of the OC Marathon over the past few years, and  this year we are thrilled to have them on as an official charity partner! This incredible nonprofit organization pairs up disabled athletes with able-bodied runners, offering everyone the chance to participate in endurance events, ranging from 5K’s to full marathons! With nearly 70 locations across 30 states, they have transformed communities nationwide. Ainsley’s Angels mission is clear: “Together, We shall educate, advocate, and celebrate inclusive communities while connecting everyone through empowerment and belonging.” 

Who is Ainsley? 

Ainsley’s Angels is named after Ainsley Rossiter, a young girl whose strength, joy, and love for running inspired the creation of the movement. Diagnosed with a rare terminal illness known as Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD) at a young age, Ainsley’s family founded the organization to honor her by advocating for individuals with disabilities. Although Ainsley passed away in 2016, her legacy continues to live on through the joy and inclusion Ainsley’s Angels brings to communities across the country.

Runner Rebate Program

We’re excited to present the Runner Rebate Program to strengthen the impact of your support for Ainsley’s Angels! Runners who commit to fundraising for this organization can receive a complete refund of their registration fees by achieving the fundraising targets! Here’s how it works:

  • For the 5K, raise $150 and receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.
  • For the half marathon, raise $350 and get a 100% refund of your registration fees.
  • For the full marathon, raise $500 and you’ll receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.
  • For the 5K/Half Combo Crush, raise $650 and receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.
  • For the 5K/Full Combo Crush, raise $750 and receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.

By meeting these fundraising targets, you’ll not only earn a free race entry, but you’ll also play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities through the efforts of Ainsley’s Angels.
