CHARITY SPOTLIGHT – Casa OC

Casa OC is a proud partner of the OC Running Festival

What is Casa OC?

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Orange County is a non-profit organization serving our county’s most severely abused, abandoned and neglected children through the recruitment, training, and supervision of community volunteers who advocate for their best interests. It is the CASA volunteer who advocates to ensure that a child who cannot live safely with his natural parents will be protected and given secure passage through and out of foster care. These kids deserve a better life, and Casa OC is trying to give that to them. By pairing a child with a CASA, they are provided a strong voice that will speak for them in court and defend them against all odds. With the help of CASA, all of the kids involved are given another chance to be a kid and live their lives without fear.
