Brandon's Story

As a High School student in Lakewood, CA, Brandon Neri doesn't let his Cerebral Palsy stop him for helping those less fortunate. After Team World Vision visited his school last year he decided he wanted to run the 2019 OC Half Marathon as part of their team. The money that he raises will help Team World Vision provide clean water across the country. He will use a racing wheelchair for the majority of the half marathon, but for the last 100 yards he will use his walker to cross the finish line on his own. Don't forget to look for Brandon on race day and cheer him on, along with all of our other amazing participants!
