RACE AWARDS

The top 3 male & female finishers in the marathon, half marathon and 5K age divisions (unless otherwise noted) will receive a commemorative age group award in the following age categories:
  • 15 & under
  • 16-19
  • 20-24
  • 25-29
  • 30-34
  • 35-39
  • 40-44
  • 45-49
  • 50-54
  • 55-59
  • 60-64
  • 65-69
  • 70-74
  • 75-79
  • 80+
Additional gender categories may be awarded when participation reaches 5% or more of the total field.
NOTE: Age group awards can be picked up after the race at the results tent. Be sure to grab it before you leave.

PRIZE MONEY

We will be awarding prize money to the top three male and female finishers in the marathon and half marathon.

NOTE: Additional gender categories may be awarded when participation reaches 5% or more of the total field.

To be eligible for prize money you must:

– Not be currently on suspension nor have ever been suspended for use of a Prohibited Substance.

– Consent to random drug testing according to the standards and procedures of USATF, USADA, and WADA

– Race entry fee may be compensated based upon time qualification and verification. Travel and Lodging are not compensated.

In addition, there is a bonus given for course records to encourage faster times and reward performance.
Note: If multiple people beat the course record, only the first will receive the bonus.

Please Note: It is the responsibility of the athlete to determine if they are able to accept prize money and how that prize may be spent to maintain high school and/or collegiate eligibility.

Full Marathon Prize Money

  • First Place Male and Female – $2,000
  • Second Place Male and Female – $1,000
  • Third Place Male and Female – $500
  • $1500 bonus to beat course record

Participants found wearing or using someone else’s bib are in violation of race rules and may be disqualified and barred from participating in future events.
