Inspire a Better Future for Families with Right Hand Angels

At Right Hand Angels, their mission is simple yet powerful: to inspire hope in our disabled community by integrating educational support, advocacy, and informative research, while also contributing to the health and well-being of families.

Founded by Robin Totsch in May 2007, Right Hand Angels began as a response to the lack of resources for brain injury support in Jacksonville, North Carolina. After her son, Andrew Bristow, suffered a severe brain injury in a single-car accident, Robin, a retired U.S. Marines saw a significant gap in support for families like hers. Determined to create a place where families could share their experiences, struggles, and needs, Robin started Right Hand Angels as a local support group for families navigating brain injuries and various disabilities.

Over time, Right hand Angels’ mission resonated beyond Jacksonville, and by July 2022, it officially became a national nonprofit organization, extending its reach to families across the United States. Today, this organization is proud to serve families from coast to coast, by providing essential support and creating an environment that inspires them to bring hope, diversity, and inclusion to their disabled local community.

For the 5K, raise $150 and receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.
For the half marathon, raise $350 and get a 100% refund of your registration fees.
For the full marathon, raise $500 and you’ll receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.
For the 5K/Half Combo Crush, raise $650 and receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.
For the 5K/Full Combo Crush, raise $750 and receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.
